Comfort Between the Lines

May 2011  |
Corduroy is a textile composed of twisted fibers that, when woven, lie parallel to one another to form the cloth’s distinct pattern, a “cord.”   The ultra sofa tan corduroy fabric of our Johanna collection is sure to leave anyone relaxed and comfortable.  What makes the Johanna collection so comfortable, you might ask?  Here’s why:

1.  Luxurious pillow top arms also add an extra touch of coziness

2.  Built-in cup holders and storage make it convenient and easy

3. Well padded leg rests for reclining

4. Overstuffed pub-style backs and cushy chaise-style seats

Our Johanna collection is made up of a sofa piece, wedge piece and love seat piece.  A matching motion recliner is also available for larger rooms.

Compliment this sofa collection with neutral and warm colors, such as shades of brown and muted yellow.  In this room, we’ve paired the tan corduroy and chocolate vinyl with an off-white floor rug.  This rug brings a soft touch as well as opens up the room.

Our pie shaped coffee tables are a perfect addition to this room because of the “L” shape of the sectional.  This coffee table has the added convenience of a lift table top!  This makes entertaining and storing efficient and simple!
Sit down and relax on our ultra comfortable Johanna collection.

Did You Know?

While the word “corduroy” looks as though it should have a French origin, as if derived from “corde du roi” (“cloth/cord of the king”), in fact there is no such phrase in French. The word, like the cloth, is of English origin, probably from cord plus the obsolete duroy, a coarse woollen fabric.
